I love natural light and take advantage of Maine's exquisite light and landscape by photographing outdoors from late spring through summer and fall. I enjoy photographing on my magnificent property, a few miles outside of the village of Camden. If you have a setting where you would like your children photographed, I am willing to come to you.

Every child is unique. I take the time to discover the magic in each child and capture his or her essence. I look for pure expressions, whether mischievous and gleeful or wisftful and pensive.

Scheduling
I book sessions in the morning or afternoon, generally starting from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m. and from 2:30 p.m. and 4 p.m. Beach sessions will depend on the tide and usually need to be booked later in the day for the best light.

My summer season books up early so I would advise scheduling an appointment as soon as you know your vacation plans.

Clothing
Pick an outfit that reflects your child's personality. Also, any favorite piece of clothing that you're tired of now will bring a smile years later.

Simple clothes are best. This keeps the focus on the face. No white please, and no bold patterns, logos or writing. If you can, bring along an extra outfit or two, and I will advise on which works best. I like bare feet on everyone.

Bring any favorite toys, stuffed animals or dolls and if a girl likes to dress up feel free to bring princess clothing and costume jewelry.

Since babies look best in bare skin I often like to take some photos of them in only a diaper cover. Please bring a baby blanket, and any favorite outfits and hats.
